The Edgecomb Mentoring Circle serves as a tribute to George's contributions as a Big Brothers Big Sisters Board member, a Big Brother to his Little, and a Community Trailblazer, being the first African-American county judge for Hillsborough County at just 31 years old.Raised in the projects in West Tampa, he overcame many obstacles to follow his dream and achieve excellence.
