3rd Annual Goat Beer Fest at Brew Bus Brewing

School-to-Work is a three-way partnership between the local school districts, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay and corporate and community partners to provide one-on-one mentoring in the workplace for high school juniors and seniors to help improve graduation rates. The students (Littles) visit the workplace of the employees (Bigs) one morning each month during the school year for about four hours. They spend the first hour learning post-graduation skills, then spend one-on-one time with their corporate Bigs through lunch before returning to school. By the time of the GOAT Beer Fest, more than 100 graduates will have completed the program that has seen a 100% graduation rate. Each graduate finishes the program with a plan, developed with their “Big,” on what they will be doing following high school graduation and how they will be executing that plan.
