A Message From Amanda Camp
Everyone, regardless of age, needs a mentor. During formative years, this is even more impactful. The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization is making efforts to positively impact the lives of children, between the ages of 6 - 18, facing adversity. I'm asking you to join me in doing a LITTLE, by giving up tomorrow's fast-food meal or coffee shop treat, and donate. The impact will be BIG.
Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs help youth experiences success through the support of positive role models. This program is meaningful to me because I often wonder how my life would have been impacted through access to a program like Big Brothers Big Sisters. Mentoring has correlations to better academic performance but, in my eyes, perhaps even more importantly, positive links to improved self-esteem and reduced risk of negative behaviors.
Join in on this fun event, bringing people together in support of a great cause. If you can't join in to share a beer and watch me attempt to bowl without the assistance of bumpers, simply make a donation. Your donation will directly help make these programs accessible to children in need, making a difference in community-wide.
